Event Overview
Our annual Will Week is coming up and it’s the perfect time to make or amend a Will – and help the hospice at the same time.
Will Week takes place from Monday 21st to Friday 25th October, and all you need to do is simply contact any of the participating solicitors to arrange an appointment to make a Will. At the appointment, you give your donation to the solicitor who will forward the entire amount on to the Hospice.
‘During Will Week, participating solicitors give up their time for free so if you make or change a Will in return for a donation, every penny goes to the Hospice. You can even Gift Aid your donation, meaning the Hospice gets an extra 25% of it from the government,’ explains Halton Haven’s Grants, Trust & Legacies Officer Jackie Douglas.
The amount is at your discretion; however the suggested donation is £130 for a single will and £220 for a double and every penny goes to Halton Haven
Appointments are limited so book early.
