A Gift in Your Will

When making a will we understand that your family and friends will be foremost in your thoughts.

All we ask is that if you are thinking of leaving a gift to a charity that you consider Halton Haven Hospice.

You can leave a % of your estate, a specific sum of money, shares, a special item or property or a gift in trust which is a gift given for someone’s use for a specific time and then passed on to Halton Haven Hospice.  By making and keeping your will up to date you can ensure that your wishes are carried out after your death.  We always advise that you consult a solicitor to ensure that your document is legal and binding.  It’s not as difficult as you may think, look out for our upcoming Will Week.

Every gift in every will makes a difference no matter the amount.  Monies left in wills support people who you may not know, you may never have met or even passed in the street.  However, your kindness will be felt by many patients, families and friends after you are gone.  It is a lasting tribute and one which will ensure that patients are surrounded by their loved ones and that they will receive the very best end of life care.
