Many of them have been here for some time and all of them support the Hospice and its work. Without them we couldn’t do what we do. They’re part of why our building is more like a home than a hospice.
However, volunteering doesn’t just happen within our walls. We have volunteers on our reception, in our shop, our gardens and woodlands, and at our fundraising events.
Volunteering is a win-win situation. It’s a great way to meet people and make new friends. We value your existing skills and who knows you may even learn some new ones along the way. We invite all our volunteers to have lunch with us when they’re on duty and be a part of the team.
You’ll need to be reliable and committed to helping us provide great service to our community. Depending upon the role you’ll be able to volunteer during the week or at weekends. You can choose either during the day or in the evening as we’re open 365 days a year.
We will always seek to find a place for you that fits your needs as well as ours. So if you want to become involved please contact our Volunteering Co-ordinator Volunteering.Admin@HaltonHaven.co.uk to arrange a chat or click the link below to download the Application Form.
