There are 12 individual rooms on the In-Patient unit and all have en-suite facilities. Three of the rooms have French windows leading to our front gardens and we also have a conservatory that overlooks those gardens.
When you’re cared for by our Team you can access the skills of doctors, nurses, our physiotherapist, complimentary therapist, breathlessness management advisor, family support team and chaplaincy. Your loved ones can also receive support and, if you wish, they can be party to all your decision making too.
We ensure that you receive the highest standard of care whether you enter the unit for pain management, following treatment for a life-shortening illness or end of life care. All of our work is patient-centered and we promise to treat you as an individual.
All of our patients and visitors are welcome to use our gardens and woodland space. They are easily accessible for those who are independently mobile and those who need assistance. There are quieter spots and places to contemplate as well as space for children to run around safely.
We have lovely grounds and you can go outside onto the lawns or take a short walk through our very own woodland if you prefer somewhere quieter and more private.
We don’t have set times to wake up or for the Doctors to do ward rounds. We work around you and your day is just that. We will try to work around your normal routine as much as possible.
