Event Overview
Halton Haven Hospice have partnered with local bar The Snig (Mersey Hotel) in Widnes to organize a summer festival for all the family to enjoy.
Building on the success of recent years, this family fun event features live music from local bands, a variety of stalls, food outlets and a bar to enjoy. Haven Festival will be on Saturday 6th July, 12 midday to 10pm.
Fundraising Manager, Tina Gill said “We are thrilled to be working with The Snig to host Haven Festival in their fantastic, huge beer garden on the water edge next to the iconic Silver Jubilee Bridge for the community to enjoy and support the incredible work of the hospice.
With FREE entry it will certainly be something you won’t want to miss! There are some amazing musicians confirmed, stalls with all you could ask for on offer and delicious food and drink to enjoy. We have lots planned, watch this space for this year’s entertainment!”
With less than half of the Hospices £2.6m annual running costs coming from government funding, the hospice is hugely reliant on the support of the community to stay open and continue caring for local people who need this specialist, end of life care.
