Volunteers needed! Can you help?

Volunteers are an integral part of all we do here at the Haven, and the hospice couldn’t function without them.

We are in urgent need of people to fill some important roles. You will gain experience, meet new people and be helping your local Hospice!

Available roles:

Database administration
– Based in an office environment at the hospice
– Requires strong IT and Excel skills
– Up to ten hours a week
– Perfect role for a retired professional

HR assistant
– Based in an office environment at the hospice
– You will be trustworthy and professional
– Perfect role for a retired professional

Gift shop assistants
– Helping in our beautiful new gift shop at the hospice
– Dealing with a till, cash and card transactions, and some administration
– You will be welcoming and friendly
– Shifts available Monday to Sunday, 11am-4pm

Shop assistants
– Based in our Runcorn shop
– Tuesday and Thursday shifts available
– Steaming and re-stocking

Day Hospice volunteer
– Based at the Hospice
– Wednesdays and Fridays
– Helping with refreshments, chatting to the patients, doing arts and crafts
