Putting, chipping, and hooking the way to making a difference.

On the 1st of May 2026, 10 teams took to the green at Helsby Golf Course for our annual Charity Golf Day.

“Our Charity Golf Day at Helsby Golf Club was a fantastic success and a truly memorable day for everyone involved. We were delighted to welcome ten teams, made up of both corporate and family players, who all helped create such a brilliant atmosphere in support of Halton Haven Hospice. A huge thank you goes to David Edwards, who made the day extra special with his incredible trick shot show and hilarious commentary video at the end of the event. Everyone loved spending time with him and sharing their golfing stories and banter throughout the day. The sunshine certainly helped make it a perfect occasion, and there was great excitement around the Hole in One competition, generously sponsored by ABC Taxis, with an amazing £2,026 prize on offer. Most importantly, everyone had a wonderful day while raising valuable support for Halton Haven, and we are already looking forward to making next year’s event even bigger and better.” Karen, Fundraising Manager

Together we raised an incredible £5167.41, which will go towards providing palliative and end-of-life care to those in our community, at Halton Haven Hospice.

The day wouldn’t have been possible without everyone’s support.
