The Your Hospice Lottery (YHL) and the Make a Smile Lottery (MAS) are owned and operated by St Helena Hospice, and work on behalf of hospices and charities to promote the work of the charity and the lottery across the local area.

MAS and YHL are looking for passionate, enthusiastic, self-motivated, and positive individuals to join our expanding team. If you feel you can make a difference, then please read on!

Working within the local community, representing the work of charities and hospices in the local area, YHL and MAS has some fantastic and exciting opportunities. You will be part of a dynamic team that will be raising awareness of the care and support provided by hospices and charities as well as encouraging the local community to support them by taking part in a weekly £1 per number lottery draws called Make a Smile Lottery (www.makeasmilelottery.org.uk) and the Your Hospice Lottery (https://www.yourhospicelottery.org.uk).

Our Ideal Charity Fundraiser:

Your approach will be non-pushy as our reputation is of paramount importance to us.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills and you will have an outgoing personality. You will need to be able to interact well with members of the public and ideally have door to door / face to face sales experience, however, full training will be provided.

An empathetic and understanding nature will be a distinct advantage as you must feel passionately about the work of charities which you are representing.

You will be subject to a DBS disclosure.

In return, you will be part of an environment which is compliant, transparent, and which seeks to represent charities in the best possible light. You will be rewarded with a basic salary plus commission.

Covid-19 Guidance: All YHL and MAS Lottery Fundraisers will have extensive training to meet social distancing regulations and protect themselves and the public. Guidance can be found on the MAS and YHL websites.
