Light up a Life

Date: Friday 7th December 2018 at 7pm

Venue: Halton Haven Hospice, Runcorn, WA7 6EP

Service

Our annual Light Up a Life service is an opportunity to remember loved ones who are no longer with us. This year’s service took place Friday 7th December within the grounds of Halton Haven Hospice.

The service includes include readings, prayers, Christmas carols and choirs. We also illuminate the lights on our tree which shine until the twelfth night of Christmas in memory of those we have lost.

The next service will take place in December 2019.

Dedications

Every year, hundreds of people make a donation to the Hospice to dedicate a light on the tree for one or more people they wish to remember. These donations allow us to do what we do best here at the Haven – to care for local people when they need us most. It is only thanks to the support of these people that the Hospice is still here for the people of Halton and nearby areas.

All those who make a dedication and donation will receive a 2018 Light Up a Life badge and a card with details of your dedication. Your dedication will be entered into our 2018/19 Book of Remembrance which will be available to view at the Hospice and online in early 2019.

For those not able to attend the service, there is still the opportunity to make a donation towards the work of the Hospice in memory of a loved one. The name of your loved one will still be entered into the 2018/19 Book of Remembrance.
