Firewalk

Time: 5.45pm arrival, 6pm workshop, 7.30pm firewalk

Would you walk across hot coals help your local Hospice? Why not take on this incredible challenge in aid of Halton Haven!

A firewalk is one of the most inspirational journeys you will ever undertake. It is a bare foot walk over red-hot wood embers. No tricks, no special effects. Just you and the fire.

After a workshop led by a thirty year veteran of firewalking, you will be ready to complete the firewalk. You do not need any other preparation.

The evening promises to be a fun event for the firewalkers as well as their friends and family.

 

Registration

Registration is £25 per person. We then hope you will raise a minimum sponsorship of £75, which will go toward providing vital care at the Haven.

Firewalkers must be 18 years of age or over on Thursday 28th February 2019.

By registering to participate in the firewalk, you agree that you are fit and well enough to take part, you do so at your own risk and that Halton Haven Hospice cannot be liable for any injury or loss that may occur as a result of participation. You agree that medical advice should be sought from a GP if you are in any doubt of your physical ability to participate in this event. Your are aware that photographs taken during the event may be used to publicise this event and the work of the charity generally. The entry fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Halton Haven Hospice takes the use and storage of your information seriously. The information you have shared with us will allow us to provide you with services and information about the Hospice (for example, we may use your contact details to send you key information about a fundraising event which have you signed up to). We may use your information to send you communications by post which we think you might be interested in receiving. In order to provide you with some services, we may share your details with companies which we are working with (for example, a company which sends large mailings on our behalf). The Hospice will have agreements in place with any companies we do share your information with to ensure they do not sell or share with your information with anyone else.
