Celebration of Support

On the 14th of April, we held a Celebration of Support event inviting some of our corporate supporters and individuals into the Hospice.

“The event was a huge success, and it was great to see so many of our supporters come together to see the collective impact they have made. We can’t thank them enough for their ongoing support.” Tina (Fundraising Manager)

The afternoon was filled with appreciation, what to expect in 2026, networking, and of course a beautiful spread put on by our Hospice catering team. It was held in our newly renovated Patient Lounge which many of the attendees helped make possible. Some attendees said:

“The Hospice feels so light when you walk in”

“The team are building something really special at the Hospice”

“My relative has received the best care here, we’ve got to help where we can”

“What you do here, is so important, we will do all we can to support”

Thank you to everyone who attended the event and an extended thank you to every single of our supporters. Whether you’re a one off donor, fundraiser, or regular giver, we couldn’t carry on our work without the incredible community we have alongside us. Together, we can add life to days.

Forget Me Not Appeal 2026 has launched!

Our annual Forget Me Not Appeal 2026 has launched, aiming to turn Halton purple in June.

With a fresh new look and lot’s of resources to help you make a difference, we are hoping together we can make this year’s the biggest yet.

The Forget Me Not Appeal may mean something different to different people. For those who have lost a loved one at Halton Haven Hospice we hope this month provides a moment to remember and celebrate someone who holds a place in your heart, while making a difference in their memory. For others, we hope this month raises awareness of the vital work the Hospice does and encourages you to support to help add life to days for those at Halton Haven Hospice. Together, we can raise funds to provide patients and families with the care they deserve.

This Forget Me Not Appeal, to help ensure we can continue to provide the best palliative and end-of-life care to patients and their families, when it truly matters, we are asking people to; Go Purple, raise awareness and/or fundraise. From purple hair, wearing purple clothes, completing a sponsored challenge, to purple cakes – everyone taking part will help to make a difference to the lives of people in our community.

Fundraising Manager, Tina Robinson said “The power of our community always amazes me, and I know together, we can help add life to days. From awareness raising acts to big fundraisers, everyone plays a part in helping to support the vital care the Hospice provides every hour of every day, and we can’t wait to see all the creative fundraising ideas this June.”

We have launched the appeal early to make sure you, your family, friends, and colleagues have time to plan your ‘Purple Event’ and we are here to support you every step of the way. To find out how you can get involved and to download our fundraising packs click HERE

The Hospice is also busy planning our June with our ‘Go Purple’ day on the 2nd of June where staff will wear purple and take part in our annual Bake Off competition to raise funds for the Hospice.
